Research details

Nicole Mead completed her Ph.D. in Social Psychology at Florida State University. Prior to joining Schulich, she was Associate Professor of Marketing at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and has been a visiting scholar at the Stanford Graduate School of Business on several occasions. Her research interests include the dynamics of self-control (in particular, interventions that can improve self-control), the psychology of money, social influences on consumption, power and leadership, and ethical behavior. Her research has been published in outlets such as Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Journal of Consumer Research.
