Research details

Marek N. Posard is an associate sociologist at the RAND Corporation and an affiliate faculty member at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. His primary area of research focuses on social problems in military organizations. Posard's research has focused on a range of topics, including diversity in the military, unit cohesion, social media use in military contexts, military families, the recruitment and retention of personnel, and modeling will to fight. Most of his research uses survey, experimental, or qualitative methods. Posard has Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Maryland, and an M.A. and B.A. in political science from Loyola University Chicago.
