Heshan Sun

Research details

Dr. Heshan Sun is an Associate Professor in the Management Information Systems Division. He received his Ph.D. from Syracuse University in 2007. He is highly interested in how information systems profoundly influence and interact with individuals, organizations and society. Specifically, his research interests include human-computer interaction, post-adoptive system use, trust and e-commerce and, more recently, business analytics. His research has been published (or will appear) in journals such as the MIS Quarterly (4 papers), Journal of the Association for Information Systems (4 papers), Decision Support Systems and Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology (2 papers. He has been on the Top-100 Rankings of Researchers list that is based on the six prestigious information systems journals. He has also been recognized in a bibliometric study as one of the top HCI researchers worldwide. He served as an associate editor of MIS Quarterly. He also has served on the editorial board of several other journals. He won the prestigious Reviewer of the Year (2011) Award from MIS Quarterly.
